There's no actual scarcity to any of these. anything above $25 for a mass produced concert tee, especially one made from the cheapest blanks concert tee makers could find (and screening them with cheap plastisol inks versus water-soluble, discharge ink screen processing), is really a racket. Granted, everything is ultimately "what the market will bear" but. I sourced high end tees for my own silkscreening and have some friends in fashion design who make tees for rockstars, and they cost nowhere near these prices. ![]() It's not a curated, monitored auction house like Heritage Auctions and a ton of stuff is fake.īut I can pinpoint: A couple years back there was some article about how idiots like Kanye were buying up so-called vintage tees for $2500 a pop, so some people obviously read that article and decided to capitalize. ![]()
